Here's a good solution on how to fix this.
1. The texture pack your using might not fit with the other resources.
2. The resource pack probably can't handle your graphics card very well, and you might need to get a lower resolution resource pack. If you can lunch minecraft without a resource pack, then your graphics card can only handle 16x16 packs.
Hope it helped!

I JUST SAW THIS!
[16:06:37 FATAL]: This operating system is unknown or unsupported, we cannot guarantee that the game will launch successfully.
If this is the case, find the minimum Mac OS X for this! If it's Lion, I just need to buy RAM 😃 PLZ KEEP ME UPDATED!!!

This is the Crash Report. Plz read quikly! Thx!

I don't have time to look through it, but I will once I have the time. But I didn't put in my Log and Game Output!
As I said, if this is a hardware issue then I won't be playing minecraft for a while. I'll attach a file for my game output and log in the main thread. Keep me updated!

I kind of have the same problem and have a temp solution but it's just my comp. BUT You might not have launcher.pack.lzma in your .minecraft folder. So heres how to find it on 2 different computers:
Windows: Go to "Start' or "Run" and type in %appdata%, and it will take you to "Roaming". Once there, open .minecraft.
Mac (My System!): ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/
Once in that folder, Try and find launcher.pack.lzma. If it's not there, Then that's the prob. Just go to the link it's trying to download to which is, https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/launcher.pack.lzma and download it. Restart MinecraftLauncher or minecraft.exe, and you should be playing minecraft!

Now u tell me! Can you comment the links when I'm able to use them? I'll ask my dad to upgrade the mac soon. Thx for the help!
