A lot of people use this trick in their builds. I think it should be considered feature
I'm noticing after updating java and catalyst the problem has decreased but not stopped, as I'm using more and more slabs the problem becomes worser again...
weird... I can tell you I'm not the only one having the problem, look at the video I posted a few comments up
Updated Java and catalyst, it didn't fix it. added updated crash report and picture.
how to reproduce:
1. place a total crapload of slabs/trapdoors in your world
2. you now have spazzing out slabs/trapdoors! hooray!
Whoops, left optifine in. I am sure it is not optifine that is causing it, and to prove that I just deleted my entire .minecraft file and downloaded the game again. here is a new picture of the problem (I assume the old ones are invalid now) and crash report. I deleted the old (modded) crash report. world download doesn't change. I also found a video on youtube where you can clearly see the effect on trapdoors: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oASYNT0Xdus. Skip to 4:50, and look at the trapdoor on his hotbar. The trapdoors in the world behave in a simular way.
I can ensure that there is nothing wrong with the world, its just how the game works... but you wanted it, here it is. still an issue
