Don’t worry, you are not the only person with this problem. Lots of people’s games aren’t loading (like mine). Hopefully Mojang will do something soon! Trust me, this usually does not happen. In the meanwhile you can try and play without being logged into xbox luve (as that is causing the problem) but that would be very hard to do, especially considering you are so new to the game.
Everyone: PLEASE DON’T DELETE MINECRAFT AND LOSE ALL YOUR WORLDS.
please be patient and wait until mojang fixes everything. If you HAVE to delete all the worlds, PLEASE back them up. This can be done by going into the ‘files’ app and going to ‘on my ipad’ and then ‘minecraft’. Then go to ‘games’ and ‘com.mojang’. Press down onto the ‘minecraftWorlds’ folder, and then choose to move it. Move it somewhere safe, like pages. When Minecraft has been reistalled, replace the new minecraftWorlds file with the old one with your worlds on it. This means you still have your old worlds.
