Yep; juuust posted a 'duplicate' issue.
I like the idea of the new doors (adding more variety to house designs is great, and it honestly makes sense that different wood = different door), but dropping the Oak variety is just...annoying.
"Hey, here's a new door! Just don't break it, or it'll turn into the old type!" - Troll (or unaware Mojang?)
Sorry about that, but I thought the Minecraft launcher would add it automatically. I've just added it.
Also, this is an intended feature they added a couple snapshots ago. They intentionally made it so that swords cannot break blocks in Creative, so you can kill thousands of mobs in a cage and not worry about accidentally breaking the cage open.
This is intentional - if you don't read the changelogs, then your fault really.
Anyway, they changed it so that, in Creative, you cannot break anything with any sword. That was because people were killing mobs and accidentally broke blocks that would lead to the mobs running away.
Now, just simply change to a non-sword item and you can break blocks again. If you didn't figure this out, then your fault.
This is not really a bug/crash/glitch, so I doubt it really belongs here, but...
Anyway, I feel for your friend, but 'account-getting-hacked' is not an issue that anyone can fix. Maybe get your friend to go onto Minecraft.net and change his password?
David, I realise that. I was just making a comment on what it seems like what's happening; not what is actually happening. In other words, that sentence I added was more of a joke sentence than a serious one. That's also exactly why I stated "unaware" Mojang, as they were obviously not aware of such bugs - they rely on us to test their snapshots for them.
