It behaves as if you don’t have the enchanted apple in your inventory, and is highlighted red in the crafting grid.
Disappointing that I just found my first enchanted apple ever on bedrock after years of playing, and I can’t make it into a banner for the achievement.
As a side, is there a way to see more detailed updates to the game? I found the apple in a dessert temple, and I was under the impression that they don’t spawn there in bedrock? I’ve noticed other changes including increased occurrence of certain structures (ocean monuments, end cities, etc.) but have not seen this mentioned anywhere.
This has been happening to every block added in the nether update. It’s like a reverse ghost block, you can see it but the game doesn’t recognize it as being there, and your supply number will not decrease. Hopefully this is already known, but until then the fix I’ve found is to add the stack of bugged blocks you are holding to a chest that contains the same block and combine them. It seems to reset the block back to normal. When building with any new nether block, I’ve been leaving 1 in the chest in case I need to do this.
