Same thing happened to me two days ago. Thunderstorm turned our power off and back on. My kids and I lost our world we had been working on all year, Corrupted and Deleted. I was (am) unable to get the world back and Mojang support is no help except to say "not our fault." This would be true IF this was an issue for all games...except it's not.
