I found a solution to the same problem. I just had to go to the gpu drivers and activate an option called "Triple OpenGL Buffer" or something like that.
I have an amd gpu so I don´t know if this will work for you.

Hey, I don´t know if you will read this, but I had the same issue and I solved it. I have a laptop with an amd gpu so I don´t know if this will work.
The solution was to go to the drivers and activate an option called "Triple OpenGL Buffering" or something like that and it worked.
I also had this problem and after a LOT of tinkering, I found the solution.
