I can also confirm. I lost 4 diamond ores and much more because they despawned in my sorting system. Really annoying

My bad, I had a resource pack on. Without any resource pack the unicode symbols are shown correctly.

I did try to start version 1.7.2 width success.
And if I try version 1.7.3, it crach. So I suppose that I have to old graphic card?

At a minimum, what graphic card do i need to have?

It is no files in %appdata%\.minecraft/crash-reports

But I have now attached the %appdata%\.minecraft\launcher_log.txt and the latest %appdata%\.minecraft\hs_err_pid*.log
