I do not play on a realm, but I am having very similar issues with my own game for Switch. I cannot open my inventory or any chests/furnaces/crafting nodes without a VERY long loading animation, usually lasting anywhere from 20 seconds to over a minute. Also having graphical errors similar to the first photo here.
