I tried Block Launcher as well, and it did work. It’s not as smooth as playing directly on the Minecraft app but at least it’s a way to play until this issue is fixed.

I've been having the same issue on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. I don't think anybody wants to do a factory reset, so looks like we'll be waiting for mojang to fix it.

I have the same issue! I'm playing on my Samsung galaxy tab 4. Before today, everything was working smoothly, but now it's not working even after I uninstalled and reinstalled more than 3 times.
