IF YOU USE A TEXTURE PACK THEN TAKE IT OFF AND TRY TO JOIN AGAIN!!!!
With some troubleshooting, I found out my friends who did not play with the texture pack got on just fine, but those who did always crashed. So. with no help from mods, I figured it out after a week of this issue and emailing Mojang trying to figure out how to fix it.
If this works for you, then please tell me, I hope everyone is having the same issue with this problem, and if not, then maybe I can help troubleshoot atleast a little bit
The only recent thing I saw was a conversation on reddit with people having the problem, but it was back in the update to 1.10, which is not really that helpful. They also said that logging into the realm as the host updates it and it will update in 72 hours if the host doesn't, yet obviously that is not the case here.
I updated my game, how do you update a realm? I have been having the same issue, and posted about it, yet I have gotten no responses from mods on how to fix it.
How was it not letting you in? Was it crashing your game or just saying you could not connect?
Whoever has this problem, please vote for it, it literally stops us for playing with our friends, and it sucks.
I have been contacting Cobble, and they say they see activity, so either the activity is when someone tries to join and crashes, which obviously is not activity, or someone is getting on my realm and I have no way of finding out who it is.
I feel as though they should add a way of seeing who is on the realm and when. It would make it a lot easier to find people who are greifing and causing trouble rather than just reverting the save
My friends that I have talked to cannot get on just as I can't either. It has been a week since the update came out and still nothing.
Granted, I have had Minecraft for almost a decade now and I have never had a major problem like this, but a week is a long time to fix something this big
Yes, I took them off multiple days ago and got it to work. I also think it is a problem with custom HUD's that texture packs offer, so if you can find a way to fix it, that would be great. I would like the texture pack I had back in working order. It is called Pure BDcraft. There is another BDcraft that has a HUD that does not work either, I think it is vanilla BDcraft, but I am not sure.
