Half Slabs are known as "Transparent" Blocks. and they may cause some collision issues. Put simply Gravel will cause damage if you find yourself stuck inside it, half-slabs won't. It's a game mechanic and will most likely happen across all platforms.

uninstalling and reinstalling the game won't do anything. However if you can provide proof that other editions of Minecraft gives you higher drop rates, You'll have a more compelling argument.

I believe this works as intended, or if not good enough. I do not believe custom skins are officially supported on The Xbox One, and it seems to be working just fine without them.
I am not apart of the Mojang Team, and I desire custom skins as well without the heavy micro transactions, and I'm sorry that the added game files are causing you issues..
Same Here ,On Split-screen, the 2nd Player Character Model Doesn't animate their arms or legs with any skin. It's Quite funny to be honest but doesn't seem intended. On occasion there's also an Auditory glitch of the second player's "walking sound", the block they walk on makes a horrific repetitive cycle of that sound, it's quite horrible listening to.
I'm so sorry this has happened to you, tracking achievements is built into the game and there isn't anything anyone could do to fix that.
