I don't have a crash report for this, it doesn't put one anywhere. Windows comes up saying that JAVA Binary has stopped working and then the whole thing closes.

Ahh that fixed most of it. Middle mouseclick (button 3) still doesn't work

what you are seeing is quazi connections. the redstone dust powers the dispenser but it will only fire when it has received a block update such as the piston pushing the block next to it.
