This happened again on my long term survival world (xbox one, bedrock, latest version), I was away a couple thousand blocks working on a farm, as well as a few hundred blocks away working on a build, and some more mobs confined in a small area disappeared, including name tagged villagers, chickens in a pen, and tamed cats and dogs. This hadn't started until recently, and since then its been happening a lot.

Platform - Xbox One

Version - Latest release version (I believe that is 1.17.40)

This happened on a mostly single player world, and for the past few months, it has only been single player. I was only a few hundred blocks away, if that. I had been working on a big project near my base for a while, and after a few days of doing that I realized that a number of entities had despawned.  Nothing out of the ordinary had happened up until that point. On a previous backup from a few days ago, all of the mobs and entities are still there, so this happened very recently. I am not sure if it is a radius thing, because while all of the villagers in an iron farm despawned, some bees that were closer to me had not despawned. And this is not an entity cramming issue or anything having to do with too many mobs in a small space because 3 axolotls and a turtle in a lake near me that were free to swim around the whole thing also despawned. Also, I do not think this is a chunk borders issue because I made sure that my iron farm was completely within a chunk border, with no border intersecting with the build. Hopefully some of that helps, id love to see this get resolved soon so I can repair my iron farm.

I feel like the same general thing happened, but some mobs that were closer to me are still there. I have a bee enclosure that is fine, but villagers a bit further out that are in the iron farm are no longer there

If the bug has already been fixed, then why did this just occur?
