The repo steps in James M coment are not the same bug as in this ticket.
Steps to repoduce:
Start windows 10 minecraft in fullscreen mode.
Join a server, in this case a realm.
Play the game for a minute.
Press ALT + Tab to move focus to a different application, task manager seems to always reproduce this error. Must be on the same screen, dual monitor users may not get this issue.
Spend more than 20-30 seconds in a different application.
ALT + Tab to Minecraft
Game will hang for a few seconds before giving the error " Disconnected from Server"
Notes: taskmanager shows Minecraft not sending ANY data if minimised, this is probably why we are getting disconnected from the server.
Just to reiterate this is NOT the same bug as [https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-13342|MCPE-13342] !
