I did not. Another player and I were waiting standing around watching it, waiting for it to cure. Upon curing it the villager walked through the wall as if it wasn't there and continued on his merry way to the village.
It's not appearing to walk through the wall. It physically walked through the wall as if it was not there.
The behaviour is similar in nature to spawning something from a spawn egg on a tile with a fence. They ignore the fence and can move freely. I believe it's because the zombie villager is replaced by the real villager in a similar manner.
The wall the villager walked through. This is my curing pen that prevents the zombie villagers from burning in the daylight while they cure.
There are two situations in which the villager could have gotten to the otherside of the wall
1) The villager walked straight through the wall as if it was not there; which is not walking over the wall (so not the same)
2) The villager walked over the wall, but through a solid block at its head; which is walking over the wall, but then it's a villager walking through another block (So not the same)

It's not a duplicate of that bug. This is specific to villagers immediately following curing.
The villagers don't normally step through the fence.
They also seem to love jumping into open flames.
They should really try to avoid direct harm.
I still see them running around at night from time to time in the new update.
Additionally, I have a cured villager who refuses to leave the enclosure in which he was cured, despite the gates being open and housing near by
