I somehow posted this in the Minecraft Java project and couldn't fine a way to move it to the realms project.
Found a workaround. "Close Realm" in the realm's settings, and reopening it again. I'm guessing this forces the server to reload the "invited list" or the "whitelist", but this is very inconvinient since we get several new users everyday and we have to ask everyone to logout and login everytime we get a newbie.
