that isn't a bug, that's because of the amount of TNT that exploded, so it lagged your device and resulted into a freeze. also, there's a depth/height limit to every infinite world, you can cross both limits but you won't be able to place blocks at that point.

Works with me sometimes when I go to the main menu and wait for the "Signing into Xbox..." to disappear in the left side of the screen then go into the world, even though it did not sign into Xbox and I had no internet.

Happened with me twice when I went to creative mode in a map using 1.1, even the /give command only gives me redstone tools such as redstone comparators and redstone repeaters. The map had no resource/behavior pack.

I agree though, but I guess it's because the servers need to take time to update? Idk, but yeah I'm sure it's not really related to MCPE bugs.

The version of your Minecraft: Pocket Edition is very outdated, I recommend you to update your game.
