I have the same bug. Lava was like water for the texture. And we can not swim in the real water, our character is flowing. (sorry my english is so bad)
This bug is noticed only when I start the game directly on a server. So I quit the game, run a solo part (that I leave instantly) and when I return to the server, there is no longer the bug.
