I hope you can think of something that helps, as I'm currently locked out of my main progress game.
As i said, creating a duplicate, setting duplicate to creative and using /clear removes the problem (in the duplicate).
I opened a support ticket with Mojang, but they only said that there is very little they can do with an internal problem with characters or inventories.
