FIX FOR KINDLE FIRE:

It's a cache issue, if you do the following it will work: (PLEASE NOTE ALL LOCAL WORLDS WILL BE DELETED, NOT TOO SURE IF THEY HAVE CLOUD WORLDS ON MICROSOFT ACCOUNTS FOR BEDROCK EDITION)

• Swipe down and click the "Cog" icon while logged into your Kids account

• Go to "Manage Storage" > "Internal Storage" > "Miscellaneous"

• Select "Games" > Click "Remove"

Once that is done you will need to clear the data for the Minecraft App:

• Go to "Manage Storage" > "Internal Storage" > "Apps & Games" > "Minecraft" > "Storage"

• Click "Clear Storage" then go back "<" at the top left

• Click "Force Stop"

• Go into "Permissions" and click "Storage" + "Contacts"

• Head back into the Minecraft app and all should be working, you will notice the character will reset to Steve or Alex and the name will be set to "Steve". Click "Sign-in" and all is working perfectly. My kids will be over the moon about this, hope this helps other families. I worked myself silly to get this working.

ORIGINAL COMMENT:

"I have done some testing into this issue as I am currently having this problem on both of my daughter's Kindle Fire Tablets, it looks like it is an internal browser issue with the cache from what I can tell on the kindle's. I have cleared all data from multiple sources such as the Kids Browser, Silk Browser, Minecraft app, and even some Web-based services on the device inside their kid's accounts. Unfortunately, I am still seeing their old deleted Microsoft accounts when I try to sign in with their new Microsoft accounts, I am unsure how to remove the cache for this internal browser. I believe that a factory reset on their devices might fix the issue due to it wiping all data, but I'm not 100% on this as I haven't tested this. I have tried to log in with my son's tablet with their new Microsoft Accounts and I have had no problems.

The issue is not with the Accounts as this has been thoroughly tested with three devices, it does look like there is an issue with data somewhere, I just don't know where on the kindles. Hope some of this information helps towards solving the issue on all devices effected."
