We killed the End Dragon for the third time, it dropped the xp but no egg.
I can confirm this for Windows 7 and Ubuntu 13.10. I get no log from the server in either OS.
It dropped the egg after the second time. My other worlds I've killed it up to 5 or 6 times it drops a egg every time
