Keep in mind, after the Jira migration, the pictures I included in the report last year became more like comments, so to access them you have to click “show more” until the pictures highlighting the issue show up.
Oh*
Ph wait your on mobile, scratch that then. It looks like it could be the issue I am talking about or world corruption caused by a separate issue
I can’t tell if this is the same issue, you could probably figure it out by downloading a third party tool like universal mc edit or amulet and seeing if the chunks save “patchy” like in the screenshots listed above
You mind showing a pic?
Yea, it sucks, hope the devs will end up having a look
As of today, the issue still persists.
Hi,
The issue is in all bedrock worlds and seeds (I even tried another PC), and unfortunately, the change in terrain generation recently has managed to damage more of my world.
Thanks for your help!
Please fix this!
Can confirm the issue still exists and is a big problem
[media]No, the world was never modified using 3rd party tools, the chunk errors I encountered were in vanilla bedrock edition with no world edits made. After I noticed the issues with my world I looked at my world with universal mc editor and I can see that the chunks in areas I have explored don’t save properly, as you can see, it causes problems (pictures of chunk issues in report). Java does not have this probem, if something is seen in game, it is a solid area and chunks can blend properly (you can see this in the java pic in the report). To reproduce all you have to do to is create a bedrock world and walk or fly around making sure you render chunks, then open it in a program like amulet or universal mc (maybe you guys have your own software) and you can see how the chunks are saving patchy.
I have the world submitted, hopfully someone else could have a look.
Jervie, what did you find/see?
Thanks, will try
There is a problem, I can't seem to be able to upload my world, "no data was sent, The browser may not be able to read the file"
Yes I can, here is my survival world, I cut out the area around my house was for privacy reasons, but I left the rest of the overworld unaffected, where you spawn is one of the effected areas.
Yes, just make a new wold in the latest version of Bedrock, load some chunks by looking around. That's it, only some of the chunks around you will save and others won't as seen in the bedrock pic, you can view the problem in Amulet Editior, or Universal MC Editior
I recently built a cozy house in the middle of a snowy tundra biome and realized when it snows the snow only forms in 1x1 lines/columns and it makes the whole biome look really bad and the reason I like the biome so much is because of the beautiful environment. please fix this issue
That actually looks really similar, sending the world file over could help, I can talk you through how to do so, also, I may be able to try and “fix” the area
