I am surprised that no one else has mentioned this issue. Ever since they fixed the bug which restrained wolves from lunging in bedrock edition, their combat capabilities actually worsened. Because now, every time a wolf lunges when attacking, it seems to have forgetten what it has been doing for about a half of a second before refocusing on its target.
