Yes ... as I stated in my post, .81 has the same issue.
One thing to note is that for me, the tablet with the issue is running android jellybean.
My tablet with ICS and my kindle do not have this issue.

You can add me to the affected - happening on an android tablet, every version from .6 up to the current .81.
After a few minutes of playing, all blocks change to some other random block - and then every minute or so after that they change to a different block.
I have two identical tablets, and this is only happening on one of them.

Update on android also broke the furnace.
