I am having the same issue as a Realms owner. During the recent frequent server crashes, I found that simply closing and reopening the Realm seemed to work. I did this two times, and got a few hours playtime after each. The third time, I remained on the closing server loading screen for an hour before I gave up, canceled and closed the game to retry. However, it seems to have closed the Realm. I get the same message when I try to connect and indefinite loading screens when I try to close the Realm (so I can reopen it) or change worlds.
