This is still a thing. I've only seen this after the most recent outage for realms. It has continued occurring often on all of my rails. However, it does not continue invisible. None of the items in the hopper minecart get dropped in it's location as it would if the cart were to continue as normal. 

This is happening on mobile too. It won't load realms at all. It's been like this for about a week.
