Currently experiencing the same issue running 1.18.1 via MultiMC (all mods disabled) on Ubuntu and home MC server. e.g. Animation of pick to break blocks occurs only once. Right mouse action to place torches is not working either, but bow and rocket (to launch) is. Rocket right click against a block doesn't work.
Local single player world attack work as expected.
