How is this a feature? It has always been in the game. I'll explain again here, in case I didn't make myself clear:
You always could place sources on top of other sources, letting you destroy the liquid you had in your bucket. You could empty water in a water pond without needing to extand the pond. Same goes for lava, altought this is not as useful, obviously. Is it clearer now? I really don't see how this is a feature request and not a bug that changes a behaviour that (afaik) hasn't been changed.
