guys I have proof I just got back with screenshots of the duplicate chicken bug
nevermind you guys closed the case 😞
Well I was playing LAN Multi with a friend when him and me killed a chicken it dropped 2 instead of 1 raw chicken I'm going to make sure my loot_table.txt file was not messed with.
I will be adding a screenshot and update the post on how to find this issue
This Happened with my windows 7 pc, the sword was looting 2
I Think this is a issue with the chickens loot table file
oh sorry I never noticed that looting in 1.8/earlier snapshots gives you more raw chicken
so yep, I'm a noob
