I had huge issues with my farms on 1.8 due to this bug; animals escaping, villagers getting stuck on walls... I started playing MC again yesterday with vanilla 1.10, and I see that it seems this bug has somehow become worse than it was before. I have a cow farm set up that involves pushing baby cows into a grinder, and the same old issue of animals sometimes clipping out of the walls, PLUS, they suffocate on walls while being pushed by water and I see ~2/3 of them dying before they can even get into the grinder. Really annoying :/. Rest in Pepperonis Minecraft, time to put this game away for a while again.
Bug present with full blocks in SP 1.8. Occasionally I see some raw beef/mutton and leather/wool on the ground where an animal seems to have died from nothing, a couple of villagers I cured get stuck and suffocate in walls upon loading, and a sheep escaped from a 5x5 pen being only one of four individuals. Sheep and cows escape their two full block high enclosures (not sure if the corners being cut out have something to do with it), however my egg farm with 200+ chickens crammed into one space above a hopper seems to be fine.
EDIT: one of the villagers just died. Now I'm going to have to find another villager zombie to make my city :\
EDIT 2 (update 1/25) For some reason, this bug doesn't seem to happen if one of three things are met:
1. if the floor 'inside' the enclosure is at least two blocks higher than 'outside' the enclosure (I assume this is because mobs are coded to try and not jump down from heights)
2. if the 'enclosure' is a 1x1 space surrounded on all adjacent and diagonal sides (because they won't try to move around, even though they will push eachother into corners)
3. If the walls are two blocks thick and are made of a transparent block like glass, they will still glitch into the walls but they will get back out on the right side without taking suffocation damage
I don't think that's a bug. The minecart isn't supposed to turn your view.
