I found a solution by Alvoria, it just changes some of the blockdata properties. I think they should just add this to the default Minecraft resource pack because it would be such an easy fix... Sonic thank you for the responce, but that is why I said it "has been reported in 1.7/1.8 before". I just was alerting Mojang of the bug again because they hadn't fixed it yet, and the snapshots for 1.9 have already begun.

I have found a solution that was made by a Planet Minecraft user: Alvoria. He has swapped the block model for "double_paeonia_bottom.json", and "double_paeonia_top.json" with these files! (I'm so happy that there finally is a solution!)
