Please, run pure 1.18.1 instalation and if your problem was resolved, then it was due of Optifine, in that case this error is not related to Minecraft and this bug report is not correct. Also, this problem can be related to your computer or laptop.
It could be due to small tps or your server or problem with your OS. In anyways, this problem is not global and it is related to your OS.
