@pine1needle I guess it works only if you have launcher already installed. I don't have launcher installed and nothing works for me, it just won't build a launcher folder and I don't have any other computer with MacOS 11 to copy files from. Unfortunately the only way to install and run Minecraft on M1 MacOS 12 machine is to use a 3rd party launcher for now, as @Yoshimasa Niwa said. Hope you will manage to fix it soon.
