Sure I’ll repeat myself
Steps to reproduce:
1. turn on xbox
2. open Minecraft
3. Try to enable raytracing or upscaling but can’t because they are grayed out with exclamation points
The observed result are that Ray tracing and Upscaling can’t be enabled.
What should happen is I should be able to enable this feature for use.
I’m well aware it’s not “broken” but it doesn’t feel right to say it’s just “not supported” either when the option is taunting me right there every time I play. Xbox Series X and PS5 are definitely capable of running ray tracing even if it’s only in 30fps. We know this not just because of the hardware inside the consoles but also because they literally showed it working a year ago. They did clarify it was only a demo meant to show the power of the series x but have also refused to give a yes or no answer on if it’s in development as an actual feature. If its not a planned feature then they should just say it. It just goes to show how lazy mojang is. I mean they couldn’t even put out caves and cliffs on time despite putting out only one update a year that has enough content to last you like 2 days. Don’t know where all of that money from Microsoft goes but I can tell you it’s not into the games development.
