I've got this problem with Player damage also. I can hit my fellow Adventure-mode player, but it takes a few tries before I can actually hit that player. Right after the player got hit, the player gets disconnected with the Exception. If someone spam-hits me, after a few seconds I will also get the damage and disconnect with the Exception.
