I had a similar issue with Minecraft and my solution was to stop the Minecraft launcher when the loading bar was stuck. I had this issue on windows so I could use the windows application Task-Manager where you can just select the running tasks or programs and stop them. Therefore you have to select the task you want to stop and after that, you have to click on "end task". (you can start the task-manager just by pressing the Windows button on your keyboard and typing task-manager and pressing enter)
