This happened to me, but I remembered (too late) that I had not drunk milk to remove the Bad Omen effect, which I should have done before I tried to trade. D'oh!
This might be pure perception on my part, but it happened three or four times today in short order, in the 1.14.3 full release. It happened when I had already opened a trading session, but closed it without making any trades. Trying to open another session gave this same "slam shut" effect. It has happened with different kinds of villagers, both with novices and other more experienced craftsmen (craftswomen?)
Thanks a million, Raytruth and bdm68. Raytruth's copy of the command has a slash after the "nbt=" that should not be there. But when that is removed, executing it in a test world worked as desired (and needed).
Over 400 villagers in the multiplayer game. Breeding is uncontrolled. Server suffering lag issues. Server admin has composed a /kill command to delete all unemployed villagers, and the dozens of golems that spawn in conjunction with them. This is very unfortunate.
I am the friend Romaq mentioned. Unlike the issue described in MC-134974, the issue did not resolve when I left and rejoined the game.
Ditto. zombie, skele, iron golem mobs slow or stop on 7th or 8th block from water source. Not an issue in pre7.
Same issue when trying to create a new 1.13 Pre4 singleplayer game. I am running Windows 10.
Oddly, the axe continues to kill sheep and cows, even though it will not cut down trees. So it's "break" that is broken, while "kill" works fine.

We are having the same issue. Our farmer stopped farming, and no amount of food seems to affect them. Eventually they begin throwing food around but not breeding. We are in a 1.2.10 bedrock realm. The breeder was working as designed until today.
Just happened to me again, while I was mining ice in an ice farm.
Me too, on a 1.2.9 realm, bedrock, I think it appeared while I was trying to create or dismantle a waterfall.

It happens to me in windows 10 bedrock realm mostly when going down stairs. I can avoid the hit if I stop walking every 5 or 6 blocks. I also have feathe falling.
I play with a small group of folks on an MCPE server. We had a Librarian change his level 1 trade from Unbreaking III to something else (I believe Looting II). This was AFTER we had traded paper and for 2 Unbreaking III books, bumping him to Apprentice class. We had also attached a name tag. We have many other Librarians who have not changed after we have traded and named them. So this seems to be ephemeral. It is extremely annoying and expensive. Oops. a co-player just now reports that a Thorns II has just changed to a Looting I. Please fix this!
