This issue exists in 1.21.5 and is not resolved.

Hi there, it seems like you're signed into the wrong Microsoft account. Please sign out of the Xbox/Microsoft account you're using to migrate and sign into the correct account that belongs to you. The gamertag shown there belongs to your friend, but you are signed into the correct Mojang account, so all you need to do is sign into the correct Microsoft account as well, and migrate!

Just wanted to write a quick update on the bug I reported. The name Whomsky became available (past the 37-day cooldown), but still resolves to the same UUID. The Caves_and_Cliffs name acts as it should when a name is on cooldown, so it seems the bug has been fixed for all future names that will be changed, but "3greatdoggies2" still resolves to the same UUID and is still on cooldown.

Figured out this is the wrong place to post this bug, as i appears to be a issue with a 3rd party server jar I was using!

@James M. - Just delete the game and then you can reinstall from your Library on the PS4. Just select from the Library and it will re-download. If it does not show up in your Library after you deleted it, it will be in your 'Purchased' folder in the PS Library. You don't need to repurchase from the PS Store.  I fixed mine via deleting and reinstalling and it now works again....so far. 

Work Around Update (PS4): 

  1. Was stuck on the Mojang RED SCREEN.

  2. Saved / Uploaded all worlds to on-line storage - PS Plus. 

  3. Deleted MineCraft. Had been using Digital version from PS Store (Bedrock Edition). 

  4. Downloaded MineCraft again from Library (PS4). 

  5. All achievements and items were still there (My son was happy). 

  6. Did not appear to have to download worlds / items again from PS Plus (although did not know if the worlds would come back so backed it all up anyway). 

  7. Kids are now playing MineCraft again. 

  8.  Sanity saved. 

Will update again if we get stuck on the MOJANG SCREEN again. 

 

Just updated to Version 2.08.....still having the same issue....stuck at RED MOJANG SCREEN.  We are using the Digital Version from the PS Store...Bedrock Edition. Two days after the 2.07 Nether Update, we were hung on the RED MOJANG SCREEN and are unable to play the game.  The Minor Bugs and Crash fixes of 2.08 do not appear to fix the issue.  I am going to try the work around that Michael noted above....will update with the results once complete. 

Ditto the above...with minor variances.  Purchased from PS Store in April 2020 and updated with the "Nether Update" on the 23rd. All was fine and was playable until the 25th, when we got hung on the RED MOJANG SCREEN.  Reset the PS4, waited for over 30 minutes and nothing. Both user accounts on the PS4 are stuck for MineCraft  Any idea of a patch or an update on this, what seems to be, a bug? 

There were no crash reports and although I could reproduce the issue before I can not reproduce it after uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft and Java.  Game seems more stable in 20w08a now as well.  May have been just a local issue.
