Update: Some people are saying this might be an intended feature, however this makes Iron Golems completely unusable. NPC villages are being destroyed by creepers, and Iron Golems are dying quickly from skeletons, creepers and zombies. So far, the only way to keep villages intact is to completely light them up, but doing that makes Iron Golems useless.
