This is what my log looked like just now when i started the game, openen a world and then minimized the game, re-opened it with as outcome a fatal error...

Go to the PS4-bugtracker, they won't help you here since this is for the Java Edition
Also, i've played MC on the PS4 myself and had this happen too, a friend said re-installing should help but idk if that's temproary or a permanent fix. I game-shared and couldn't play it since so i can't test it if it works
