Not sure if this is a duplicate - the issue regarding only seeing hashtags for renamed items makes sense, but #9150 mentions chat delay where it shows up after hours.
For my brother and I, he can see my messages instantly. I cannot see his messages at all. They don't show up with a huge delay either - they just never show up.
