This not a bug. It's intended new behavior to the redstone. If you're not happy with that, you can always complain about it on the suggestion subreddit.
By the way, even if it were a bug, make sure to write bug title more in accordance with the bug report guide: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360039268071-Writing-Helpful-Bug-Reports-for-Minecraft-
Try to avoid saying things like "My game is broken!" because this doesn't tell us anything. Instead, try to keep the following questions in mind: What's broken?
I reckon it got broken due to the recent unicode/font changes.
English translation: I can't craft netherite items and armor.
I'm not a mod but I do know you need to give enough details for the bug to be reproduced by the developers so they have an easier time finding the cause of the issue. Although this might be a bug, I reckon it's more of a misunderstanding of how portals work on your side. You might want to look at the wiki to find why the portals aren't connected before assuming it's a bug.
The issue seems to still be present in 20w18a.
