Is this related to Villagers not being able to open doors?
Can confirm in 1.14.1 Prerelease 1. Villagers will only path through doors without a block directly above them, solid or otherwise. They bounce as they go through the doors as if they are trying to jump over them.
To recreate: Place several villagers in a contained space with only a door with a block directly above it. Even with the addition of a pillager/zombie, they will not go through the doors, even if the door is already open. Removing the block directly above the door will allow them to use it.
This appears to affect all wooden doors, even those generated in villages. Double doors are also affected.

I noticed an issue with villagers path-finding causing massive lag. I wonder if they're related?
