okay for people using intel processors still having issues with 1.6.2 i strongly recommend download new drivers from intel , i no longer have these symptoms , all gone can be near a village no matter night or day without any lag , and all this with playing on hard , i do not know if the new laucher fixed it for me or new drivers from intel but the issue is gone in 1.6.2 and in newest snapshots 1.6.3/4 , issue seems to be fixed , Regards Sanny.

Nasty one , Unplayable , needs to be resolved pronto , not only server lag but lag in general in SP huge lag spikes when night comes upon me , block lag etc and for those with comments " download new drivers etc" don't it's clear that mojang has updated the game without properly testing it , Sanny.
