Also still not working for me, despite the fact that I now have launcher version 1.6.89-j as the latest available.
The launcher doesn't even try to start a modded version, it's downloading some stuff and then acts as if I haven't even pressed Play.
I'm just happy that I have a friend who programmed his own launcher, meaning I can continue playing this great game.
Please find my launcher log attached as well.

One could get the idea that it is intentional that modded games can't be run anymore...
Isn't it possible to distribute the 'old' version again that was still working on Tuesday before the snapshot came out? It's pretty annoying that people can't play in their modpacks since five days now!
This is still an issue for me with the Launcher 1.6.84 and 1.6.84-j on Vista 64bit, latest Java.
I can't run 1.7.10 forge, still getting this Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch
It's a year now that the official Minecraft launcher stopped launching the game... Latest installable version is 1.6.91 - any chance this'll be fixed SOON?!
