Did the uninstall, delete folder, reinstall. Problem still persisted. Then went through and proceeded to update drivers. Managed to corrupt my computer, so ended up doing a reset. This resolved the minecraft issue. Sorry I can't give anymore details about the fix, a bit of a sledge hammer.

Hi. I'm experiencing the same issue. It first occurred in version 1.1.3. Still occurring in 1.1.4. I'm on Windows 10 with all updates applied. Very occasionally the game actually loads with a message saying the global resources have been reset. I've got no mods installed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game with no change in behaviour.
Turning off wifi seems to resolve the issue. Once the game has loaded, I can then turn wifi on and proceed as normal.
Let me know if there are some crash logs or some debug info I can find to send to you.
I'm using a surface pro 3. Problem also occurs on a desktop PC running windows 10.

HI - Same problem windows 10 pocket edition version 1.0.2

World Seed is -1119388186. stronghold is a long way south west of spawn. I've seen this stronghold in a creative version of the world and it was fine. (Back in a pre 1.0 version). I had since visited it in my survival version of the world, onlyto find the stronghold wasn't there. I dug down looking for it to bedrock.

Now in version 1.0.2, I finally got some eyes of ender and tracked them back to the same spot. So I did a lot of digging and finally found some of the stronghold structure, but there is no end portal room that I can find. I've excavated all around the generated structure including above and below to ensure I'd been everywhere. No joy.

I've read elsewhere that more than one stronghold will generate per world. The eyes of ender just take you to the nearest one. Is this true? I've invested a lot of time in this world and do not want to abandon it!

Cheers,
Scott

Just a note for the iOS users out there. Restarting the device will start up a whole slew of other apps that may be installed. I find it best to double click the button at the bottom of the ipad and manually close ALL (Including Mincecraft) apps running in the back ground. (On ours there are about 30 of them.) For me it doesn't matter what order I start minecraft, the other players world shows up after about 5 seconds waiting.

Note to Mojang. This looks like an issue with lack of available memory on the device. Whether this is a memory leak in minecraft OR another app that is running or just plain not enough memory is something that should be investigated.

Never mind. I didn't realise the effect creative mode was having on this. Please close this bug.

Confirmede on Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10 with MC PE Win 10 0.12.1, also ipad 2 and ipad mini running iOS 8.4.1 both are running MCPE 0.12.1 alpha
