Finally after months of trying I was finally able to make an account on this website... This bug is still occurring in the latest version 1.19.1-pre3. I've lost two villagers and multiple pets to it. I cannot comprehend why this issue hasn't been fixed after almost a decade and a literal fix in the bug report itself that Mojang can use.
