It's way too late to fix that issue, Mojang should have left it like it was before. It's never a good thing when the fix doesn't allow as much possibilities as the old one.

You will reopen it because it was not a bug but a feature.

Affects 1.9.1-pre3.

Please change this back, the guy who reported this issue is frankly an ignorant. He even said: "I don't know if this is intended or not."
And I don't even know why this got "fixed" with only 3 votes!
