Got the same problem, but can add some little precisions.
The game crash really often. Most of the time it's when I go exploring new lands (actually jungle et moutains biomes, but I didn't try other). At one crash I had a dog, and since I don't anymore. At another crash, I were on a horse. After the crash I launch Minecraft PE again and I were a few blocks from my crash position, on foot, with no horse anywhere. This issue is really annoying for the gameplay.
It happens in survival. I got the latest version of Minecraft PE and I play on an iPhone 5s with the latest version of iOS.
Thanks for your attention, may this be fixed for the Better Together update (I can't wait !! 😃)
